Here it is:

I have a scene complete with a plane a modified box and another box plus a charater camera and moon and omni light. The pictures below show a rendering of a frame that works and frame that has the problem. As you can see its a roof top. Everything is textured and I have Light tracer and automatic exposure on. The camera is positioned to follow my character who is behind the farthest railing. The thing is when you go to a company like say for instance Pixar Films or say Lucas Arts Films you basically have to take like at least five good years of training before they will even look at you as a 3d Artist or whatever position that you are applying for.

I don't know the answer, and to be honest I'm not all that keen on finding out. But I did find a very fitting quote that explains it all:

"Life is a whim of several billion cells to be you for a while"
